The Toronto Blue Jays have the distinction of being the only team from outside the U.S. to win the World Series. Not only that, but they also won both of their two total World Series titles back-to-back in 1992 and 1993.

A good thing like that couldn't last, though, and in 1994 the Blue Jays suffered their first ever losing season. They haven't reached the postseason since. And while no players have been inducted into the Hall of Fame as Blue Jays, Toronto has been home to three Hall of Famers over the years: pitcher Phil Niekro in 1987, outfielder Dave Winfield in 1992 and first baseman Paul Molitor from 1993 to 1995.

The Blue Jays play in the Rogers Centre stadium, formerly known as Skydome. This has been their home ballpark since 1989, when they moved from Exhibition Stadium. The team is currently owned by Rogers Communications and managed by John Gibbons. The bench coach is Ernie Whitt and the bullpen is managed by Bruce Walton. Better known than any manager or coach (and in many cases better known than the players on the field), late broadcaster Tom Cheek called every single Blue Jays game from 1977 to 2004. That amounts to a record-setting 4,303 straight games called by the same commentator.
