Milwaukee Brewers Tickets

Recently transitioned from the American League to the National League, the Milwaukee Brewers have a rollercoaster history. The first Brewers moved to Georgia and became the Atlanta Braves in 1966, then a new team from Seattle sprung up and moved into Milwaukee.

An abrupt move from Seattle to Milwaukee for the 1970 season meant there wasn't time for new uniforms. As a result, the Brewers were forced to use the blue and gold jerseys of the pilots with new logos hastily sewn over the old ones. The colors became synonymous with the team and the Milwaukee Brewers are still using them today.

Barely a decade after their relocation the Brewers were in a World Series race with the St. Louis Cardinals, a feat made possible by home run hitters Cecil Cooper and Ben Oglivie (also known as "Harvey's Wallbangers"). They lost 4-3, due mostly to an injury for Hall of Fame pitcher Rollie Fingers. In the 1990s, "The Brew Crew" moved from the American League to the National League and also began construction on Miller Park.
