They have yet to win an ALCS or World Series title. They do have the honor of claiming superstar Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan as one of their own, since he played with the team from 1989 through his final season in 1993. His number 34 jersey, along with Johnny Oates number 26, was officially retired by the Rangers.
The Rangers' home stadium is Ameriquest Field in Arlington, also known as "Ballpark in Arlington". The team is currently owned by Southwest Sports Group and managed by Ron Washington. The bench coach is Art Howe and the bullpen is managed by Dom Chiti. The most famous Texas Rangers owner of all time is President George W. Bush. From 1989 until he was elected Governor of Texas in 1994, Bush managed the team for the investment group he headed.
